P32 IN THE WIND CANARD OUT FOR EARLY SX ROUNDS T eam Honda Muscle Milk's Trey Canard won't be ready to race at the start of the AMA Supercross Series after undergoing surgery last week on a broken left collarbone. For Canard it was yet another setback, the Honda factory star already trying to return from the broken femur he suffered in August. Canard, who had only recently started riding again, crashed last week while training and smashed his left collarbone. He said via his Twitter account that, "I was riding within my comfort zone and just got an unexpected buck." Team manager Erik Kehoe probably can't believe the bad luck. "Trey suffered a fracture to his collarbone when he crashed at a team test," Kehoe said. "He underwent surgery and his physicians estimate he will need a recovery time of four weeks at the minimum. It's very disappointing to see this happen to Trey, especially after all the hard work he's put in to recuperate from injuries in 2011. He will miss the first few Supercross rounds, but our team will continue our preparations for the upcoming season with Trey's teammate, Justin Brayton." More bad luck: Trey Canard will miss the early Supercross rounds with a broken collarbone that required surgery. TADDY X 3! K TM's Taddy Blazusiak won round two of the SuperEnduro World Championship, sweeping all three finals in his home round in Lodz, Poland to keep his perfect season intact. Blazusiak, who won the opening round in Italy after completing a perfect season in the AMA EnduroCross Series, won all three of the SuperEnduro finals. Brit Jonny Walker rode his KTM to second overall over Joakim Ljunggren, the Husaberg-mounted Swede finishing third. In the opening SuperEnduro final it was Blazusiak who grabbed the holeshot and set about opening up a sizable lead over the chasing pack. The lead was one he wouldn't relinquish, the Pole maintaining a 10-second advantage for the majority of the race. With Blazusiak out front it was Gas Gas' Ivan Cervantes and Ljunggren fighting it out for second before Ljunggren finally took advantage of a mistake by the Spaniard in the rocks to move into second. But it was Walker who was on the move, the Brit starting badly but working his way up to eventually pass both Cervantes and Ljung- 32-41 Wind.indd 32 gren to finish second. Cervantes finally got the better of Ljunggren to round out the top three. With the starting order reversed for the second race, all of the main protagonists found themselves on the second row for the start. It didn't seem to matter much as Blazusiak was third by the end of lap one. Just two laps later he was past Galindo to take yet another easy victory. Blazusiak was again fastest off the start and grabbed an early lead in the final race of the night.
