hat do you need to
know about the 2013
edition of the Indy Mile?
Two things: Bryan Smith and
Crosley Radio/Howerton Motorsports Kawasaki. That pretty
much sums up what happened at
Indy this year.
Smith came, he saw and he
conquered.
Fastest in timed qualifying, a
commanding performance in the
fastest heat race to win pole, a
victory in the Dash for Cash, and
then a flag-to-flag win in the 25lap National - with over five seconds in hand at the checkered
flag. It was about as good as it
gets for Flyin' Bryan.
No doubt Smith's crushing performance on the liquidcooled, fuel-injected Kawasaki
650cc parallel twin will once
again raise the ire of the HarleyDavidson teams. And the runner
up was another Kawasaki– Brandon Robinson on the TJ Burnett/
