came on strong in the end to nip
former WORCS champ Taylor
Robert for fifth. Robert said after
the race that it felt like he was riding a hard tail, and that he came
into the race with an incorrect
suspension setting.
Among the amateur winners
on Saturday, JT Baker was one
of the top performers, taking the
overall win in the Youth overall
Senior class and winning a National title for the effort.
"I had a couple of crashes but
luckily I was able to get back on
the gas and worked my way back
up for the win," said Baker. "This
is a cool race and I'm glad we
came out here."
Another top performer was the
winner of the Girls division, Serena Newby.
"The course was great, it was
fun but definitely challenging,"
said Newby.
