Superbike Shootout at So-
noma Raceway went to the
boys in blue: Factory Yamaha's
rising stars Cameron Beaubier
and Garrett Gerloff. Both had im-
pressive weekends. Both were
on pole. Both won races, with
Beaubier taking the Pro Super-
bike victory and Gerloff capturing
the win in Pro Sportbike. But what

coming of age is what everyone's
been salivating over - to see what
Beaubier can do on a Superbike
in his rookie season. And so far
he's been doing quite well, win-
ning his second-ever Superbike
race at Daytona in March and fol-

perbike Shootout battle at Auto
Club Speedway. But what really

Rookie Cameron
Beaubier (2) beat
his teammate, the
three-time champ
Josh Hayes (4), in
Superbike action
at Sonoma.
