MUSQUIN PERFECT
IN GENEVA
T
he Supercross pre-season continued in Eu-
rope with the 29
th
International Monster Energy
Geneva Supercross taking place in Switzerland,
December 5-6. Frenchman Marvin Musquin pi-
loted his factory Red Bull KTM to a 1-1 sweep at
the Palexpo Center, celebrating dominant wins on
both nights and successfully defending his King
of Geneva crown. Cedric Soubeyras and Josh Hill
rounded out the overall podium positions, taking
second and third, respectively.
Friday night's final SX1 results saw European Su-
percross Champion Cedric Soubeyras take sec-
ond place, followed by GEICO Honda's Malcolm
Stewart. On Saturday night, Gregory Aranda was
the SX1 runner-up, while the American contingent,
once again, rounded out the podium, this time with
Hill. Unfortunately for Stewart, his shot at an overall
podium tanked on Saturday night when he finished
a distant 17
th
place. His combined score left him
barely inside the top-10 with ninth overall. It was
Hill's 5-3 tally that credited him with third overall at
Geneva, behind European Supercross Champion,
Soubeyras, who took second with a 2-5 score.
Several other U.S. riders made the trek to Swit-
zerland in an effort to prime the pump for the up-
coming AMA Supercross season. Kyle Chisholm
and Jimmy Decotis were a part of the American
junket that made the trek to Switzerland. Chisholm
had a disappointing weekend with a 9-12 overall
score in the SX1 division. Decotis' weekend was
filled with highs and lows with a four-moto tally of
6-13-11-1 in the SX2 class.

BLYTHE WINS BRUTAL TECATE ENDURO
T
he Los Ancianos MC defi-
nitely dealt a challenging
course for the 41
st
running of the
club's signature event, making
the Tecate Enduro brutal in every
sense of the word. But Mother
Nature could not have been
sweeter to the 286 racers who
made the trek to Rancho Santa
Veronica in Tecate, Mexico, De-
cember 6, for what has been
called "The best East Coast en-
duro in the West." Rain in the
week prior to the event gave a
thorough soaking to the parched
Northern Baja terrain, making for
"chocolate cake" dirt throughout
the over 100 miles of virgin sin-
gle-trac—and most importantly,
with no dust! The ideal condi-
tions made for a very level play-
ing field for riders on all rows, as
evidenced by the final standings:
